Italy conquers Savonlinna! Our programme in summer 2026 promises a range of experiences that are both lighter and more profoundly moving, with love and despair, loyalty and betrayal, fragility and defiance. We shall enjoy the poignant Madama Butterfly, a return of the summer 2024 success Nabucco, the hilarious Marriage of Figaro, a new production of La Traviata, and the eagerly awaited Savonlinna début of Lisette Oropesa in Bellini’s Norma.
