Music in Ruovesi

A week of top-class concerts with leading Finnish and international performing artists at several concert venues in unique and scenic surroundings. Our chamber music entertains audiences at churches, chapels, village halls and other interesting venues in the district. Our programme respects the classical tradition, while reserving a place for contemporary music and premiere performances. We also seek to transcend artistic boundaries, for example by combining music and text. Artistic Director Anna Aminoff was a founder of this festival in 2006.
