Helsinki Contemporary Opera Festival brings together current productions of freelance opera groups. As an international friendship festival to the main Helsinki Festival, this annual event in August-September focuses on the new chamber opera and musical theatre of our time, presenting a broad review of creators and their works at Alexander Theatre. Reetta Ristimäki serves as Artistic Director of Helsinki Contemporary Opera Festival on behalf of her artistic production agency Greta Productions.
