Folklandia, Turku-Kapellskär

The Folklandia Cruise is Finland’s largest winter event of folklore and folk dance with everything a folk enthusiast could wish for. We draw on a long tradition, respecting the heritage but willing to embrace new ideas as we sail into the wide blue yonder on the crest of a Folk wave. Some one hundred performing ensembles will participate in the cruise, including leading names in folk music and dance from all over Finland and the wider world. Folklandia cruise will be arranged by Finland’s principal organisations, events and educational institutions in the field.
